Comprehensive Autism Evaluation by

Dr. Pawan Rajpal

It is quite common for adults to have gone through life without an autism diagnosis, feeling that in some way, they don't quite fit in. Some learn to manage their life, although this can be hard work.

What to Expect: Prior to your first appointment, you will be sent a link, to collect feedback from informants like your parents, or partners and some other scales.
These questionnaires will explore concerns and neurodevelopment background. If possible, please ask someone that has known you since you were a child to add to this form or a sibling or a partner. It is helpful for the assessment process if the person completing this form provides as much information as possible. Please return this form before your appointment, if possible.

Clinical Assessment: First assessment is with our Psychologist, using a semi-structured interview, to assess current ASD symptoms. It is helpful if a parent or partner can be present for part of the assessment in order to provide further details. this will incorporate assessments for other mental health issues, intellectual assessment and executive functions and discuss how you manage day to day issues. These assessments will be done online via Zoom. It is suggested that you be ready to spend 3-4 hours, with breaks, for these assessments.
The information collected, throughout the assessment will be reviewed and considered against diagnostic criteria and a report will be shared with Dr Rajpal, with whom, you will discuss the findings.
